Vintage G Plan Mid-Century Fresco Dressing Table With Floating Top. Wonderful Mid century G-Plan Fresco Dressing Table with its original mirror. Mirror can be set at an angle and can also be easily removed for ease of transport. Some people remove the mirror and arms entirely, turning the piece into a stylish mid century office desk. Including mirror the piece is 145cm [L] x 122cm [H] x 49cm[D]. Item is in vintage used condition with obvious signs of age, use, marks, splits, damage, wear and repairs to laminate. Dressing / vanity table by Umberto Mascagni. Beautiful proportions to this solid heavy piece. Constructed in wood and finished with a cream and black coloured vinyl with silvery copper coloured metal trim. Drawers are metal with fabric lining and comes with the original detachable mirror and glass top. No makers mark but unmistakably a piece by the maker. Condition is structurally solid. Clearly been well looked after with no noticeable damage but signs of discolouration to some of the vinyl and drawer linings with age. Height with Mirror 180 cm. VINTAGE ANTIQUE ART DECO COMPACT SYCAMORE DRESSING TABLE & MIRROR c1950s

A rare Art Deco dressing table made by British company Vesper, c1950s-50s. Veneered in sycamore with contrasting rosewood detailing. A very elegant and timeless piece, compact in size so please check measurements below. CONDITION overall for its age is good, there are of course the usual age related scratches and marks throughout. SIZE (cm) 160 high to top of mirror x 63.5 high to top of drawers x 52.5 high x 106 wide x 30-46 deep. The older pieces of furniture are better made, normally by craftsmen and not machines, have more character & if looked after will last many years. I also love much older pieces, if they are unusual, well made & a great design I will offer them for sale. I like to keep pieces as original as possible & will clean & re oil / wax.
